Many of the concepts in use by mouver have been initially incepted during research activities at the Institute of Transportation and Urban Engineering of the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany. Our mission is to bring to practical application the methods and tools that proved reliable and beneficial to urban authorities and mobility planners.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernhard Friedrich
Bernhard was co-founder in 1995 and until 2017 managing director of TRANSVER Verkehrsplanung und Beratung GmbH, which focused on the application of new methods and models in the practice of traffic planning and traffic control. From 2000 to 2007, he was head of the Institute for Transport Economics, Road Engineering and Urban Planning at the University of Hannover. In 2007, he accepted an appointment at the Technische Universität Braunschweig, where he has since headed the Institute of Transportation and Urban Engineering. He has a broad experience in the development of new methods for data acquisition, fusion and processing, which are documented in numerous scientific publications (ORCID-ID: 0000-0003-4290-3614). In various professional associations he contributes to the introduction and standardization of new findings from research into practice.
Dr.-Ing. Walid Fourati
Dr. Walid Fourati has more than 11 years of professional experience in consulting, engineering and product development in the field of intelligent transportation systems and transportation planning. He conducted and managed projects for public authorities in France, Germany and the Middle-East, and developed new applications and solutions with several industrial and academic partners. He graduated in civil engineering from the National Engineering School of Tunis, in urban and transport engineering from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, holds a M.Sc. in urban mobility from the University of Paris-Est-Créteil and a PhD in transportation and urban engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig,
Aleksandar Trifunović
Aleksandar is expert in product engineering and development, covering both hardware and software aspects. As a researcher at TU Braunschweig, he gained a solid background in information theory, numerical methods and computer systems. He is traffic engineer by training from the university of Belgrade, and holds dual M.Sc. in applied mathematics from the University of Hamburg and Università degli Studi dell'Aquila.
